Arthur “Butchy” Doe, Jr., legendary Charlestown criminal and escape artist, son of Arthur Doe, Sr., featured earlier on Mugshot Monday. Senior was shot to death in the late 60’s by parties unknown. Butchy Jr. remained behind bars, except on those occasions when he escaped, after which his picture would again appear in the public prints and on TV.
