Salvatore DiNunzio was also mentioned at Gianelli's
first arraignment as recieving $2000/per month in "protection" money but
was not charged in the indictment. On April 11, 2005 he ran over and killed a 16-year-old Roslindale girl (Stephanie Lam) who had run into the path of his SUV on Herald Street in the South End. It was not Carmen’s fault, and he was not charged. A spokesman for the corpulent capo said he was deeply distraught over the child’s death. |
