Debra Davis
This is Debra Davis. She had been one
of Stevie Flemmi's "girlfriends" since she was about 17. Her father had
objected to the relationship, and shortly thereafter Dad drowned under
mysterious circumstances. By 1982, Davis was, 24 and fed up. When she
started dating a Mexican, Stevie decided she had to go but did not want
to do it himself. No problem, said Whitey. They lured her to Stevie's
mother's house, next door to the home of Whitey's brother, Senate
President Billy Bulger and Whitey murdered her.
After Whitey strangled her, he and Stevie chopped off her fingers and
pulled her teeth to prevent dental identification. She was buried in the
sands of Tenean Beach, next to the body of Paulie McGonigle, the borther-in-law
of Whitey’s future girlfriend Catherine Greig. Stevie, meanwhile,
started focusing at least some of his attentions on Debra’s 13-year-old
sister Michelle. Unlike Debra, she had dark hair, and Stevie told her
she reminded him of Ava Gardner. |
