DOB 1-6-10. Campbell was a New York City gangster who spent a lot of time in Boston. Like Elmer “Trigger” Burke, another New York hoodlum, Campbell was a friend of Georgie McLaughlin from Charlestown. Check out his first two names – “Frank James.” It was not known whether his family named him after Jesse’s brother, but Jimmy “the Gent” Burke (the mobster played by Robert DeNiro in Goodfellas) named his two sons Jesse James Burke and Frank James Burke.
