One of Larry Baione’s soldiers, was
tending bar at the Nite Lite the night Barboza henchmen Tommy DePrisco
and Tash Bratsos were murdered, 1967. When the cops came in, he was
trying to scrub the blood off the floor. In the words of Larry, he was
“a beautiful bleepin’ guy.”
Later, Sen. Mike LoPresti, D-East Boston, wrote several letters on his
behalf when Cincotti was trying to get a gun permit from the police
chief of the suburban town he’d moved to. LoPresti claimed he had no
idea Cincotti was a gangster.
