John Morris

Meet John Morris, who in terms of corruption was right up there with his fellow Boston FBI agents H.Paul Rico and Zip Connolly. Morris began his career in Boston placing a fake bomb under the car of  hoodlum Eddie Miami, in an attempt to convince him that Winter Hill wanted him dead. (Miami didn’t bite.) Morris took his first cash payoff from Whitey through Zip. He was going to Glencoe, Georgia for "drug training" and the philandering fed wanted to take his girlfriend/secretary/future wife with him and set up a love nest. In 1998, the second Mrs. Morris described how she got money from Zip.

Morris performed yeoman-like services for the Bulger mob, eventually collecting $7,000 in cash. Whitey called him "Vino" because of his drinking problem. But when the Globe ran a damaging series about the Bulgers in 1989, Whitey figured out that Vino was the paper’s main source. In 1995, after he went on the lam, Whitey tracked Vino down to Quantico, VA, where he was the head of training for new FBI agents. Calling from a payphone in Southie, Whitey identified himself as “Mr. White” to Vino’s secretary. When he finally got through, Whitey   threatened  to expose him. Bulger underling Kevin Weeks picks up the narrative.

That night, October 13, 1995, Mrs. Morris picked up her corrupt husband/ex-boyfriend at work, and he had a confession to make.

In regard to John Morris
John Morris was an FBI agent who took $7,000 in bribes from Whitey. In the following documents he explains the power of Billy Bulger (Whitey's brother and president of the Massachusetts Senate) through mobster/FBI agent John 'Zip' Connolly.

Morris now lives in retirement in Florida, where Zip Connolly will soon go on trial for murder for the 1982 slaying of John Callahan.
