LF was one of the King’s underlings.
He later took over the rackets in Revere, and in this photo, he’s trying
to avoid being photographed as he leaves the courthouse after testifying
before a grand jury. In later years LF became a philanthropist. When he
died of a heart attack in his car in late 1963, he was described in the
papers as a “prominent North Shore sportsman.”
