Linskey is the guy behind the heavyset gent with the coat over his face.
Patrick Linskey was the buyer of record of the famous Mass Millions
Lottery ticket that turned out to be a $14.3 million winner. Linskey
said he bought the season’s ticket for his brother, Michael. Michael got
half, and Whitey, Kevin Weeks and Pat Linskey split the other half. Not
bad – he’s still collecting approximately $89,000 a year, after taxes,
and will be, until 2011. This photo was taken in 1968, after he and one
of Whitey’s future thugs, Kevin O’Neil, were arrested and charged with
murdering a black man in South Boston. The charges against O’Neil were
dismissed after he hired a lawyer named Billy Bulger. Linskey was
acquitted after a second trial. |
