out of the old federal courthouse in Post Office Square after his
conviction in 1987 in the “Examscam” scandal, which involved selling
stolen civil-service exams. In those days, you could still smoke in
public buildings. The paperback in his hand is written by Joseph
Wambaugh, a former member of the LAPD. |
