William Fopiano

 

Meet Willie Fopiano, DOB 8-29-44, minor North End hoodlum who in 1993 wrote a book, "The Godson", about his exploits, claiming to have been a runner for the late Meyer Lansky. Take a peek at the cover of the paperback edition. Current whereabouts unknown.

Capt. Francis Quinn of Division 7 questions William F. Fopiano, 18, about a North End robbery in January 1963. Watching is David Puopolo, who lived on Endicott Street. Fopiano, of 71 North Margin Street, went on to become a minor hoodlum and eventually wrote a book, “The Godson.” He is deceased.
